Do I need to size up when using pads with TheraRide?

However, creating new pads requires precise injection moulding for each size and type, so these will take time to produce. The recessed cavity in the TheraRide also allows farriers and trimmers to create custom pads for specific needs.
Is TheraRide replacing Scootboot Adjust (formerly Enduro)?
No, both models have distinct purposes:
- Scootboot Adjust: Designed for riding, it focuses on horses with varying heel and hoof height conformations, as well as mules, offering a customisable heel strap and Slim-shaped fit.
- Scootboot TheraRide: Helps horses with serious therapy needs transition to riding, featuring a recessed sole for interchangeable pads alongside the customisable heel strap.
The Adjust is for unique hoof conformations, while TheraRide combines therapy and riding functionality. Both remain available.
Can TheraRides be used without a pad?
No, TheraRides cannot be used without a pad. They come with two pad options:
