Scootboot is pleased to announce that entries for the inaugural Scootboot Young Rider of the Year Award have now closed, with submissions currently being shortlisted by our judging panel.
The competition received an outstanding response from hundreds of young riders around the world, each showcasing a genuine passion for horsemanship, dedication to their horses, and a strong sense of connection and care. From a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds, entrants demonstrated the values at the heart of the award, highlighting the next generation of riders who are committed to doing things differently.
The Scootboot Young Rider of the Year Award was created to recognise young riders aged 12 to 21 who go above and beyond in their approach to horse care, community involvement, and personal growth within the equestrian space. The high calibre of entries has made the shortlisting process both exciting and highly competitive.
Finalists will be announced soon, with the overall winner to receive a bespoke scholarship, Scootboots for a decade, and a Scootboot merchandise pack.
Scootboot looks forward to celebrating these inspiring young riders and sharing their stories with the wider community.
