Scootboot Young Rider Award

Scootboot is proud to launch the Scootboot Young Rider Award - a celebration of young riders who go above and beyond in their care, connection, and commitment to their horses.

This award shines a light on the next generation of equestrians who embody empathy, dedication, and the true partnership between horse and rider.

While this competition celebrates the spirit of clubs and community, you do not need to be a member of a club to enter.

Who Can Enter?

• Open to all young riders aged 12-21 from eligible regions internationally
• Welcoming riders from all disciplines and experience levels - from trail riding and show jumping to dressage, endurance, or pleasure riding
• Entries can be submitted by riders and/or parents

• Winner:
  • AUD $1,000 bespoke scholarship
  • Scoots for a Decade - 10 pairs of Scootboots, to be taken as you choose throughout a 10-year period

Judging Criteria

A global panel led by Scootboot will review all applications, focusing on:

• Horsemanship and care for horses
• Dedication and resilience
• Community spirit and positive influence
• Inspiration shown through their riding journey
