The Scootboot team was proud to be part of the Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s Get Together, held at Billopp near Cressy.
This iconic event brings together riders, stockmen and horse lovers to celebrate tradition, horsemanship and the strong community spirit that defines the mountain cattlemen culture.
On the Ground with Scootboots Sizing Expert Mel
Scootboots sizing team member Mel Curtain was on site across the weekend, working closely with riders to ensure their horses were fitted correctly for optimal comfort and performance.
From first-time users to long-time customers, Mel provided hands-on fittings, answered questions and helped take the guesswork out of hoof boot sizing.
It was especially rewarding to see so many horses already competing and working in Scootboots, particularly in the more demanding terrain events where traction, protection and a secure fit are essential.
Events like these highlight just how important reliable hoof protection is when horses are navigating varied and challenging ground.
Supporting Tradition and Horsemanship
Scootboot was proud to support the event through sponsorship, including the Cook the Stew Race, a crowd favourite that showcases both skill and tradition.
We also supported the Senior and Junior Championship Encouragement Awards, recognising the determination, effort and horsemanship shown by riders of all ages.
