The Scootboot Global Barefoot Awards 2026 recognise individuals and organisations around the world who are contributing to the advancement of barefoot horse care.

These awards celebrate those committed to improving horse welfare, soundness, and long-term outcomes through responsible barefoot hoof management.

Whether you are working individually or through a business or organisation, this is an opportunity to be recognised for your contribution to the barefoot movement.

Award Categories

Individual Global Barefoot Award - $1,500 AUD

Recognising individuals who contribute to the barefoot movement in a personal capacity and do not derive primary income from barefoot-related services or business activities.

Business / Organisation Global Barefoot Award - $5,000 AUD

Recognising businesses, operators, and organisations that contribute to the barefoot movement through commercial activity or structured operations, including non-profit entities.

How to Enter

  1. Complete the official online entry form (linked below)
  2. Provide details of your contribution to the barefoot movement
  3. Upload supporting media such as images or video (optional but encouraged)

 

Timeline

  • Entries open: 15 June 2026
  • Entries close: 15 October 2026
  • Winners announced: 15 November 2026

Selection Process

  • A judging panel will review all entries based on impact, advocacy, and contribution to barefoot horse care
  • Public voting may be incorporated as part of the evaluation process

Prizes Include

  • Cash awards
  • Scootboot prize pack including certificate, trophy, hoodie, and cap
  • Global recognition across Scootboot marketing channels
