Welcome to the Herd, Chance Robert – Yellowstone Wrangler and Western Storyteller

When it comes to grit, authenticity, and connection with horses, few embody the Western spirit quite like Chance Robert. We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Chance - and his legendary paint horse Storm - into the Scootboot community as a new ambassador to the Western world.

If Chance looks familiar, there’s a good reason for that. You might have spotted him on-screen in Yellowstone Season 5, or in the hit series 1883, where his cowboy roots and calm, grounded energy felt right at home among the sagebrush and saddle leather. But his story goes far deeper than the screen.

Raised in Missouri, Chance grew up horseback, surrounded by the kind of down-to-earth, blue-collar values that still echo through every piece of content he shares. From wild mustang rescue work in California to launching his own Western lifestyle brand - Lonesome Seven Ranch, Chance brings an unmistakable blend of style, substance, and heart to everything he does.

“A Spare Tire for Your Horse”

Recently, Chance and Storm took our Scootboot Classics out for a spin - and we were thrilled with his honest, real-world take:

“These bad boys essentially act as a spare tire for your horse. You can throw them in your saddlebags or in the back of your truck. When something goes wrong you can always use one to keep your horse’s hoof in one piece and keeping him from getting injured.”

Chance and Storm tested the boots across mud, rocks, and changing terrain - and as Chance puts it, they “stayed on through it all”. While Scootboots are not designed to be worn over metal shoes long-term, Storm was able to wear them over shoes for sizing purposes - and we’re thrilled they performed so well on his first ride out.

“They didn’t bother him at all... I was wondering if he’d walk funny, but he moved out great. They fit right and stayed put.”
