Celebrating 50 Years of Empowerment: RDA Tasmania's Golden Anniversary

At Scootboot, we believe in the transformative power of horses.

Not just in performance and adventure, but in healing, building confidence, and creating lasting connections.

That’s why we were deeply honoured to attend the 50th Anniversary Afternoon Tea celebrating the Riding for the Disabled Association of Tasmania (RDA Tasmania) on Wednesday, 23 July 2025, at the magnificent Government House in Hobart.

Hosted by Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania, the event paid tribute to five decades of unwavering service and heartfelt dedication by RDA Tasmania in supporting individuals living with disabilities through therapeutic horse riding.

A Legacy of Impact

For 50 years, RDA Tasmania has been a beacon of hope and joy, providing life-changing experiences to riders of all ages and abilities.

Through carefully designed equestrian programs, they have fostered independence, confidence, and social connection.

These outcomes are made possible by the incredible bond between horses, riders, and volunteers.

This work benefits more than just the individuals who ride.

It uplifts families, strengthens communities, and leaves a lasting positive impact.

Proud Partners in Accessibility

Scootboot is proud to support RDA Tasmania in their mission.

Through our partnership with Horseland, we help make equestrian activities more accessible by providing sponsorship and discounted Scootboots to disabled riders across Tasmania and beyond.

Our boots are designed for comfort, safety, and performance, helping every rider experience the freedom and connection that riding offers.

Looking Ahead

We offer our heartfelt congratulations to RDA Tasmania on this remarkable milestone.

Your legacy of compassion, inclusion, and resilience is truly inspiring.

We are proud to support your journey and excited to see what the future holds.
